One of the Natick program highlights was no doubt delivered by the Natick Squirt - "A1" team which captured the top spot in the Squirt Central National – AA Division. The seventh-seeded team entering the championship rounds, the Comets squad not only captured its divisional title but it went on to win the Squirt "AA" overall championship against Newton Squirt AA2 by a score of 3-1.

On Sunday, April 6th, the Squirt C team, the seventh seeded Valley Hockey League (VHL) Central National Champions, faced off against Seacoast, the one seeded VHL Central American champions, for the Central AA Division Title. Scoring just 12 seconds into the game, the Comets never looked back. By the end of the first period, Natick was up 2-0. Natick added another goal in the second period and was looking strong going into the third. Natick let up one goal with 5 minutes left in the third period. But the team held strong and pulled out the victory 3-1.

The Comets Pee Wee C team visited the NESN studio for the pre-game show prior to the Bruins game on Saturday, January 25 versus Philadelphia. Team players asked the Bruins players questions and were part of the live show prior to the Bruins game.

On Monday, January 20, the Comets Squirt C team took on Framingham in a Mass. state playoff game for the right to move on in the state tournament in March. Strong goaltending and excellent passing combined to give the Comets a 3-0 victory for the Division 8 Championship. Congratulations!

The Comets Squirt B team won the 2014 Western Mass Freeze Out Tournament at Amherst the weekend of January 17-19. The team was undefeated going into the Sunday championship game. In the final game, Natick won 3-1 against the Southern Stars from Milford, CT to earn the tournament trophy.
